Welcome to Our Blog about The Bruce Trail

Welcome to our Bruce Trail Blog!  At over 890 km long, the Bruce Trail is the longest hiking path in Ontario, Canada, following the Niagara Espcarpment from Queenston Heights in the south to Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula.  Over the span of 10 years we completed the Bruce Trail in a series of day hikes, organized End-to-End events, and one epic thru-hike of the Sydenham and Peninsula sections.  From ticks to poison ivy, and from historic canals to stunning scenery on the rocky shores Georgian Bay, our blog tells the story of our journey on this challenging, rewarding, and amazing trail from south to north.  Along the way we share some tips and tricks for hiking the Bruce Trail, offer some advice for long-distance hikers, and review the gear and clothing we used.  Thank you for reading, and we hope you enjoy!
